Paros has a beach for every mood. The wind, usually the northerly meltemi, decides where you will find calm water.
Kolymbithres
In Naoussa bay, known for granite rocks that form small natural pools. Go early in summer, as it fills up.
Santa Maria
A long sandy beach in the north-east with beach bars and water sports.
Golden Beach (Chrysi Akti)
On the south-east coast. A long stretch of sand, well known for windsurfing.
Pounda
On the west coast facing Antiparos. Shallow water and steady wind for kitesurfing.
Faragas and Logaras
In the south and at Piso Livadi. Good choices when the north wind blows.
